I have really gotten into making post cards lately. The postage has constantly increased and making post cards helps a little with the cost of mailing. Also, if cut the right direction, I can make three post cards with the same amount of cardstock that I make two cards.
I hope these post cards will inspire you to try your hand at it. They are fun to make. However, I do have to cut down a little on adding 3D embellishments. The Modge Podge that I use on them helps to keep the embellishments on, gives the card a sheen, and makes them have more stability. The top post card is also being entered into Simon Says Stamp and Show's challenge of What Do You Say?

Fabulous postcard and a perfect way to say thank you. Love the flowers and your image. Thanks so much for joining in the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, Vicki. I especially like the imagery and color scheme in the thank you postcard. You also made me use my geometry skills to figure out how to make 3 postcards from a piece of 8.5x11". LOL! Have a blessed weekend.
