Here are two more pages from my Gelli Plate book I have made. I like the way each page is different from the others.

Gelli Plate Book
Here are a couple more pages from my book of Gelli Plate pages. These were really fun to do. I put a few "artsy" sayings on my pages.

Exploring Gelli
Exploring Gelli is what I am calling my book of Gelli prints. I have done all the Gelli work on the book, but now have to do the embellishing. Posted here I have the cover and the page on the other side. These two are finished.
This is how I made my prints from the chipboard book. I first covered the front and back of each page with Gesso. After this was thoroughly dry, I starting putting the layers of acrylic paint on using some of my stencils. For some reason, my scan does not show the areas of red on the cover. My little jalopy was stamped on tissue paper and the writing was done with Sharpie markers.
The reverse side, or first page, was an Oops piece. After I added the layers of paint on this one, I thought I would use my tree stencil on it to add some trees. Well, it didn't make a complete image in all parts of the stencil, However, I did like the results of having partial trees. Next I thought I would add a yellow flower on the page, but it looked terrible as it was actually the mask of a flower. So I quickly ran to the bathroom sink, grabbed an old sponge and proceeded to scrub the yellow paint off with water hoping I wouldn't mess up my background I had worked so hard on. Well, after I finished scrubbing there was a hint of yellow left. Now I really like how it turned out. The quote came from the Quote Garden.
As I finish the other 10 pages I will post them two at a time so my post won't be too long.
