Theses cards are similar as both have a collage-looking background.

My first sample for this challenge is a typical classic card. The image of the mother is from the many images that Karen carries at the Lunagirl website. As added embellishment I used a butterfly and some sequin flowers. The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs.

"Cowgirls, Cowboys and Horaes" is the theme at Lunagirl this month. The site has a great collage sheet of images for this theme and it is only $2.50. Karen also has a domino, 1x2', images which I just love. They are the same price for a page full. Take a look and then see about entering her challenge. Here are the rules
:Challenge ends at 3:00 pm CST on April 30 so you still have time to enter
My card above says Living an Adventure Everyday. The card is fairly plain, but I added some string for additional rope on the image,
The girl carrying the heart below reminds me how I love to watch western movies. Maybe there is one on tonight,

Lunagirl's March Challenge
I haven't posted lately as we are downsizing from a four bedroom house to a bedroom in my daughter's house. My husband and daughter are doing all the work and I can only help a little with my inability to stand and walk without a cane. We are almost there. Our house is sold and we plan to be completely moved by April 1. We are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but everyone goes to bed complete exhausted. Needless to say there has been no time for crafting and my stuff is in my small cubicle at the new house, in the garage and in storage. If I find something to use, it is by luck.
Over at Lunagirl Karen is having a great challenge. It is Spring Flowers and Birds, one of my favorite themes. I managed to supply one card this week for the challenge.

I just love this cute little image from Lunagirl. Karen has so many images it is hard to pick one to use. The background is a piece of wrapping paper. I have use it many times as it fills in the background nicely with various spring flowers. Along with the little girl image, I used one of Karen's bird images too. The card is embellished with a single pink flower.
Don't forget to go over to the Lunagirl site and enter the challenge.

January Theme for Lunagirl
The first theme for the monthly challenge for Lunagirl Moonbeams for 2016 is "Babies and Childlren" Take a look at all the lovely images that Lunagirl carries. I am sure you will find it hard to choose just one or two images.
My first sample is a baby dressed in an old fashion dress. I used this as my focal point on the front of my card.

Corner Card
This card has a drop-down corner which is easy to make. I will try to do a tutorial on how to make it in the next couple of days. The circle around the image is a recycled piece from a greeting card I received. The image is from Lunagirl.

Second Week of Challenge
The Cheerful Stamp Pad is still having the Marie Antoinette challenge. The Design Team looks forward to seeing what you create. Below are some additional creations from the Design Team/
Vicki
I was disappointed as to how this tag turned out. I love the Lunagirl image, but after moving all my crafts stuff from one house to another, I was completely exhausted and couldn't really put my heart into it. I hope to post another sometime this week after I find the item I need which are in one of many boxes.
Michele
I've made another tag this week and I call this one "Marie Flies Away." The designer paper background on the tag base is from my stash but after that I used a bunch of images from Lunagirl. The Marie image is from the "Marie" collage sheet. The wings are from "Rainbow Wings," the fan is from "Fans," the postcard strip is from "Ephemera Memories" and the button I used at top for the hole is from the "Buttons" collage sheet, all by Lunagirl. I added a brad by Tim Holtz, lace and ribbon to finish.
Barbara
For the second week of the Marie Antoinette challenge I use the same collage sheet and made another ATC, When I saw the images I knew that is what I wanted to do with them. I fussy cut around the flourishes and layered it on a Fancy labels 8 die cut. I did use some spica glitter pens on the flourishes and added 4 rhinestones, I added it to a purple base.
Hazel
For the second week of challenge 105 I once again used one of the beautiful images from Lunagirl's Marie Digital Collage sheet, using background papers that I've had for ages. The black flowers are Craftime and the centres were from the Hobby House.
Karla
For the second week of Marie Antoinette, I created digital card using an image kindly supplied by our sponsor Lunagirl Moonbeams. Most elements in my card are from the internet.Hope you keep playing along with us! Have an inspiring weekend.

More Shoes!
You have one more week to enter the challenge "Shoes" The Design Team would love to see what you create. Here are some additional pieces of inspiration by the DT. Remember Lunagirl and I are combining challenges so go to that site and enter too. By the way, you do not have to use digital stamps. You can also use rubber.
Vicki
I made a shadow box with some of the many shoe images from Lunagirl.
Karla
For the second week of shoes I made a digital card using an image from the Elegant Ladies Shoes 3 sheet and it was kindly supplied by our sponsor Lunagirl Monnbeams. The pin up girl also belongs Lunagirl Moonbeams. The sentiment as the papers are from the internet. The other elements are from my stash.Hope you keep playing along with us. Have a magical weekend!
Hazel
I printed and cut out two shoes from Lunagirl's Fancy Footwork digital collage sheet mounting them on to a piece of paper with shoes (I've had this ages, originally from a magazine freebie). The pleated card, lace and flowers from my stash and the quote was generated on computer and printed
Barbara
Sorry I missed the first week of the challenge, but happy that a couple of the design team picked up the slack, I am having trouble transitioning to being ready for Thursday/Friday. I have very little time when I am home from the cottage as that is when I make appointments, have lunch dates and get my laundry done but I'm hoping I can get it together soon. I used the shoes collage sheet from Lunagirl and made an ATC (artist trading card) The sentiment I googled, printed and snipped it into small rectangles to glue to the side., Seems an odd one for me as I'm not a shoe-aholic, I have gym shoes, walking shoes, and sandals.
Michele
Here is a bit more fun for you on the SHOES challenge. For this tag, the very fancy blue lady and the shoes are from Lunagirl collage sheets. The background paper is digital designer paper by Gecko Galz. I also used washi tape, enamel dots, lace and ribbon from my stash.

A New Challenge
When I grew up we went around all the time during the summer barefooted. I thought nothing about crossing the hot road and getting melted tar between my toes. I don't know why I did it; I just did. That remembrance inspired the theme for Challenge #114 "Shoes". The Design Team would love to see what you can create using the theme "Shoes".
We again are coordinating this challenge with that of Lunagirl so don't forget to go to Karen's website and enter also.
Vicki
I send out a lot of cards to members of my church.. This card can either be a sympathy or a get well card.
Michele
I'm making tags for the shoes challenge. The lady in red and the shoes are both vintage images from our challenge sponsor Lunagirl. The vintage map in the background is designer paper from Retro Café Arts. The rest is just good old stuff from my stash.
Karla
For the first week of shoes I made card using many different shoes from Lunagirl Moonbeams, I must confess I was quite inspired by Marilyn's quote which is exactly what I was looking for when I was creating the layout of the card. All the lovely vintage shoes from Lunagirl are lovely!Hope you play along with us. Have a magical weekend
Vee
Hazel
When I saw the beautiful shoes on the Lunagirl fancy footwork digital collage sheet, kindly given by Lunagirl as sponsor of this challenge, I couldn't resist using the red shoes and making a digital card based on The Wizard of Oz in which Dorothy clicked the heels of her red shoes and she followed the yellow brick road. The picture of Dorothy and her house is one that I found on the internet.

Let's Travel
If you are wondering what happened to the collaboration of Lunagirl challenges with those on The Cheerful Stamp Pad, it is because Karen of Lunagirl is on vacation and after arriving she discovered she had limited internet service. They will continue when she returns.
Now let's see what the Design Team created for the second week of "Travel to Faraway Places".

Now let's see what the Design Team created for the second week of "Travel to Faraway Places".
Vicki
I took a post card image from Lunagirl and added some travel images and then embellished with an "Explore" sticker.
Vee
For week two of out challenge I made an oriental card using an image from Lunagirl's Far East Travel collage sheet, Spellbinder dies, red satin ribbon and oriental metal coins.
Hazel
I've used three images from the Memories of Paris digiral collage sheet, kindly given by Lunagirl, sponsor of the challenge. Papers, including the cut out of the Eiffel tower, are My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Madison Avenue. Papermania ribbon and various flowers. Everything mounted on to a sideways opening A5 card.
Michele
For week two of the "travel to faraway places" challenge I've made a 4x6 postcard featuring a young girl traveling across Europe. All of the vintage images are from our challenge sponsor Lunagirl. I started with the 4x6 cardboard base and arranged images from the Lunagirl collage sheets including "maps," "dreams of Paris," "scenes from Europe," "carte postale" and "steampunk girls." I think there are 7 images used here altogether! I also used washi tapes, prima flowers and some die cuts from a travel set I had in my stash. I hope you enjoy this postcard and that you will also be inspired to join our challenge -- one more week to go!
Barbara
I couldn't resist using one more picture from the Lunagirl Paris collage page and I made it into an artist trading card. The backing is a brown scrap and the gold is also a scrap, Memories sentiment is trimmed from the title of the collage.
Barbara (2nd one)
I figured out how to cut a section from the collage page, guess you are never to old to learn something. I used the Lunagirl World collage page and chose the London map, I have had Tim Holtz Visual Artistry clear stamps for at least 5 years and I thought they went really well with the map. I am quite pleased with how it came out. I put all the stamps on my "new to me" Fiskers stamp press and it lined up beautifully and straight.
Karla
For the second week of Travelling to distant places, I made a card using a lovely image from Lunagirl Moonbeams. It is a magical landscape. The sentiment is from the internet and I also added some pearls, a flower and a bottle cap. Keep playing along with us and have an inspiring weekend
