Alcohol Ink Agate

I have been wanting to do a little collage on this fan diecut.  Terry sent me this fan diecut with some other goodies...thanks Terry.  At the top is my "Paris" title using Tim Holtz's Alcohol Ink Agate on Grunge technique from A Compendium of Curiosities.  This was for Week 15 of Studio L3's challenge.  However, I am late in posting.

I put a piece of red cardstock behind the fan so it can be seen in the scan.  I decided to use my grunge as my title "Paris".  The images  are of things that remind me of Paris- the Eiffel Tower, foreign postage and a fashion shoe.  I also attached a "key" to the city.  A little lace and a triple-layered flower was added to dress up the fan.

Trick or Treat

Bring on the treats; I'm ready for Halloweem!  I decided to use my grunge flower in a ittle different way.  I am using mine as an emblem to hold the rubbon, or in this case raffia..   I made a party cone (to hold my candy).  Would you believe I had almost every color of tissue paper except fall colors or I used an napkin to act as my tissue paper this time.

I have taken a number of pictures so you can see the flower as well as the cone as a whole  It is decorated with pumpkins, leaf and a little glitter on the stars and  a message which reads "May Your Halloween Be Full of Smiles".

Most of the stamps are by Stampin' Up.  Coloring was down with Copic Markers.  The grunge was distressed before I put it together as a  flower.

I think I will hang this on my front doo Halloweenr and see if hubby will supply candy corn.

Just Grunge

Here is a card I just put together using Bleach Swipes with gold webbing background, a little grrunge, and stamps.  After distressing my grunge, I decided to put my sentiment on it and add a little gold trim.  The sentiment stamp is from Scrolls Work Stamps.  The old vehicle is from The Stamp Pad. Tthe card ended up being a little busy.
