Challenge #102 "Monogram"

The theme for this challenge is to use a monogram or a single letter on your creation.  Here are some ideas from the Design Team.

I covered a composition book and made it into an art journal.  The letter in the corner is the initial of the girl I am going to give it to.  The monogram is by Floppy Latte which can be found on Stitchey Bear Outlet.  After covering the outside of the composition book I added the initial in the corner and the fence.  Additional embellishment was made with flower stickers, raindrops of teardrop stones and a sophisticated lady from Gecko Galz.

F;oppy latte has some lovely monograms.  I used the letter "Y" to make a birthday card for my friend Yvette.  Yvette has a hard time finding chalrms and monograms and such starting with the letter 'Y'" so i think she will enjoy this!  I colored this monogram digital image with colored pencils and then covered my cardstock with primavera paper by itKuPiLLi and added flowers and a lace border to finish.

The monogram letters with floral surrounds - Floppy Latte 'floral cap nouveau T' and 'floral cap nouveau Y' - kindly given by the challenge sponsors, Stitchy Bear Stamps. I coloured the images with spectrum noir pens, cut out by hand and mounted on to the pink card blank, adding some sparkly glittered letter blanks to complete the 'Thank You' card.

Happy New Year, and a New Challenge. For the first week of the Monogram challenge I decided to make a note book for my hubby, I like making these little notebooks they are fun and these monograms from Floppy Latte work fabulous for it. I went with a masculine theme and I added a ribbon with a bead on the end to mark the page in the notebook that you wrote on last.  I was looking around my room for something to use as an alpha and found these little flat circle beads, the die I used is a fleur dis lis square spellbinder die.
