This image Gecko Galz looked like she needed something to sit on so I found the perfect thing-a basket.  The basket is a Stamps by Judith stamp.  The Martha Stewart punch made the beautiful lace and red stones were added to it along with a red bow.

The background of this lovely Gecko Galz cowgirl is a piece of gauze-like material I distress with ink.  The designer paper has the appearance of leather and a brown bow finishes the card.
I love the bright colors of this Gecko Galz cowgirl image.  The letters on the designer paper gives a western feel.  The sentiment for this birthday card was printed on the computer.

If You missed checking out one of the blogs or want to go through them again here is the rotation

Challenge #98 "Anything Goes (Fall Colors)

There have been loads of great creations lately with the Fall them so I though I would continue it.  For this challenge you may create anything you wish as long as it has Fall Colors.  Please make sure you follow the theme.  Lately I have had a number of entries that people have don for other challenges and have just added to mine even though they did not fit the theme.
Vicki
I made a card with one of my favorite flowers which are prominent in the Fall.  That is the sunflower.  I decided to fussy cut the image which is from my sponsor My Heart Pieces found on Stitchey Bear Outlet.  The sentiment is "A Magical Fall.  Part of the sentiment are stickers from Tim Holtz and the large letters are from my stash.  The leaves to the right are part of a 3D bought embellishment from my stash.  The image was colored with Copic markers,
Karla
For the first week of "Anything goes:Fall Colors", I used a digital image kindly provided by our sponsor Stitchy Bear. It is called Sunflowers Summer and it was designed by My Heart Pieces. I colored it with watercolor pencils and layered it on a yellow card stock. I also added some wooden buttons, Washi tape and a sentiment. Why dream? Because Sunflowers make me dream of sunny days. Have a magical week and keep playing along with us !
Michele
For my DT piece "sunflower garden" I used a sunflower digital image by "My Heart Pieces" and fall leaves background designer paper by "Coosty Creations" both designers at Stitchy Bear. I printed the digi on some colored paper and colored the image with pencils.  After cutting it out I went around the edges with my red gold pro marker.  I added a few embellishments to finish it, keeping things simple.
Have fun creating and I hope to see your entry.
Barbara
For the first week of Challenge # 98 I chose the wine barrel and of course my marker was sort of running out as I coloured the barrel, I went with it as it looked very much like wood does. I made a tag to use when I give a bottle of wine for a house party.
Hazel
I used the Stitchy Bear's My heart pieces 'wine barrel' image, kindly supplied by the sponsors, coloured with spectrum noir pens and die cut using one of the Spellbinder's marvellous squares, brushing with spiced marmalade distress ink before releasing from the die. This was then mounted on to gold mirror card. All papers used were from my offcuts box, flowers from Hobbycraft.

I am so pleased to have Stitchey Bear Outlet sponsoring this challenge.  Please visit the site and see all the wonderful images that available there.

Second Week of Guest Designer Spot Challenge

The Cheerful Stamp Pad is sponsoring the challenge this week  The winner will have a Guest Spot for at least two weeks.  Please make sure you follow the theme Fall Leaves.
Vicki
I made a tent card using designer paper of leaves and the center leaf was cut with a punch and then I found a stone in my stash in the shape of a leaf...just perfect!   A yellow ribbon and bow gives a little splash of bright colorThis is the perfect card to make when you need one in a hurry.

Michele
This week i made a card.  I used 2 different digital background papers created by Coosty Creations, a designer from our sponsor Stitchy Bear's shop.  I also used a digital stamp sentiment piece from Gecko Galz.  The autumn basket digital image, also by Coosty Creations is here again although this time I printed it, colored it with pencils and then used only the bottom half of the basket for this card. I added some shiny fall leaves stickers as well.

Karla
For the second week of Fall Leaves, I created a simple card because the paper I used is so charming. It  lends itself either to a Fall or a Thanksgiving card (my scrapbook paper is from Toke e Crie in Brazil). So I just adorned it with a sentiment, some mushrooms and green crystals. Have a magical week and keep playing along with us!
Hazel
The background paper is from the Basic Grey Indian summer paper pad (but I think it has an autumnal look), the middle torn strip being another paper from that pad and the torn piece on the left from Basic Grey pyrus paper pad, both edged with spiced marmalade distress ink and Adironadack espresso. The stamped leaves (My Mind's Eye and a Craft Stamper freebie) were inked with Adirondack espresso, terra cotta, Stazon blazing red and Archival russet. I then added some skeleton leaves and the quote generated on the computer.
Barbara
Second week of Challenge 97, Fall Leaves.  I decided to try something different this week, I inked the Gently Falling set (Stampin'up) with Tim Holtz distress markers and stamped on white cardstock, I then inked the outline stamps (same set) with versafine moss green, then cut them out. I wasn't happy with the results so I took my watercolour pen and muddled the colours and was happy. The button I made with a Sizzix die and covered it with paper glaze then tied the green and white bakers twine through it. This I have no sentiment on it as I think it can be used for a lot of occasions in the fall.

Art Journal Page

I have been working on this piece for quite a while, but it is finally finished. It was done on a Gelli Arts - Gel Printing Plate with acrylic paints. I am so glad that Carolyn Dube got me hooked on working with the Gelli. It is so relaxing and gives me a chance to think outside of the box.

The main stencil is from The Crafter's Workshop stencil Loose Woman. The background was done with StencilGirl and StencilGirl stencils. I couldn't decide what color to make the bathing suit so I opted to let the background do the job.

"Moon Goddess" is the Lunagirls Theme

Lunagirl has just started her Moon Goddess theme.  Drop over and see what the other Design Team members have created.
I created a tag for the challenge using a Lunagirl image on a background made with a Gelli Plate.  A tiny star was added to the tip of the moon.  Small "stars" were added to the background with drops of Stickles.  A bow made from an elastic cord completes the tag.

Challenge 97-"Fall Leaves"

This challenge is a little different as the winner of the challenge will be asked to be a Guest Designer for at least two weeks.  You may create anything you wish as long as it fits the theme "Fall Leaves".  You will notice below that each team member decided to create something uniquely different from the others.

Now the Design Team is anxious to see what you create.  Remember, to be eligible to win, do not enter more than twice.

Vicki
Here are two more Altered Playing Cards.  This time they are for my "Fall Leaves" challenge.  The images are from Gecko Galz's jewel collage sheet.  To make the  cards follow the theme, I added leaves to both.  The background of these playing cards was done with a Gelli plate.
Karla
For the first week of Fall Leaves, I created a card using canvas stickers from Imaginisce which I happened to find when I was digging for some new card stock papers. I layered my images on a strip of a fall scrapbook paper and added a sentiment and Washi tape. I simply love Washi tapes! Hope you continue playing along with us! Have a magical week!

 Michele
For this fall leaves challenge I used a Coosty Creations digital image from Stitchy Bear called "autumn basket."  I also used digital background paper from Coosty. For my tag I covered the tag base with the lovely autumn digital paper which I'd printed with the autumn basket image right on it. I colored the basket with pencils and added the sentiment which comes from the Gecko Galz Thanksgiving digital stamp set.  I added a couple autumn leaves brads which I got from Eyelet Outlet and a bit of washi tape. Happy autumn!

Hazel
I created a background on watercolour card with some of my new Spectrum Noir AquaTint Inks, stamping the Stampers Anonymous leaf stamp inked with various distress inks - brown corduroy, spiced marmalade, fired brick. This was then mounted on to some old gold mirror card and then on to an 8 x 8 card that had been wiped with the distress inks. The 'last butterflies of summer' twill was dusted with the distress inks. Sparkly circles from the Hobby House were added an a DCWV chipboard sentiment panel.
Barbara
For the first week of the Fall Leave challenge I used one of my Fall House Mouse images, doesn't he look like he is having a fabulous ride? I made a Z fold card and you will see different angles on my blog. I coloured the image with copics and used patterned paper from Bo Bunny. The cardstock I used is More Mustard and Really Rust. I added the rust metal dots for my embellishment. I will probably use this for one of the Fall birthdays I have coming soon. There is a GDT spot for our winner of this challenge.

Lunagirl's "Birds"

orgeThis is the second week of Lunagirl's challenge theme "Put a Bird On It".  For my piece this week I chose to alter a playing card and I chose roosters as my birds.  This is what I created:
I

The background was done in watercolor and the roosters and  the roosters were from Lunagirl.   I added a fence diecut and the cat was a sticker.  The "straw" was raffia.  I like the way this turned out.  However, I am falling behind in getting the 52 playing cards altered.

Don't forget to go to Lunagirl Moonbeams to see the other team member's creations and enter yours.

Second Week of Halloween Costumes and Fun

I have received some great entries so far for the Halloween challenge.  If you haven't entered, you still have time as it doesn't end until next Sunday evening at midnight.\\Let's take a look at what the Design Team has created for you this week
Vicki
Here is a cute image you will find by Allipeeps at the Stitchey Bear Outlet.  I really like the "cute" Halloween images.  I placed this little witch on a couple of designer papers and added a little cat sticker and a raffia bow.

Hazel
I don't 'do' Halloween, so I thought I'd do a bit of a playful version for my card. I used 'kitty cat' from Alipeeps Art Kostume Kidz animal set kindly supplied by our sponsor, I coloured the image with spectrum noir pens, mounting it on to the printed out background that I found free here, having added my own text digitally.
Barbara
Second week of challenge #96 and I chose this super cute witch from out sponsor Alipeeps at Stitchy Bear Outlet. I decided she was too cute to colour her face green and I found my Happy Halloween stamp. The paper I bought at the LSS as I haven't found my stack pack of cute paper, unless my mind is playing tricks and I really don't have a Halloween pad. LOL. The cats are from Impression Obsession and there are 6 on the die, I always cut all 6 as I don't want to break the die apart you know what will happen then.

Michele
This week I grabbed a cute little girl in a kitty costume by Stitchy Bear's Allipeeps Art for my DT piece. I colored the digital image with pencils.  Kitty girl is out for her night of fun on my tag which also features die cuts, ribbon and some background designer paper by Gecko Galz.

Karla
For week 2 of our challenge, I created a card using a lovely kitty cat from Ali Peeps - one of Stitchy Bears' designer. It was layered onto a paper I found at activityvillage.co.uk. There are many Halloween printables there. Then I added a black lace and flower. Have a magical week and keep playing along with us!
