Summer is the time we think of gardening and picking all those fruits and vegetables. Some of us just like to go to the farmer's market to get ours.. Whichever you do, this is the time of good eating.
My card uses a digital from Scrapper's Delights which is one of the creators on the Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet. I think this is such a cute image and I happened to find a lemon embellishment to go with the image.
For the first week of "Fruits and Veggies", I made a card using a stamp generously supplied by our sponsor Scrapper's Delights on Stitchy Bear. I colored it digitally and printed it on a coated paper. Then I framed my lovely stamp before layering it on a dotted green and white cardstock. I adorned my card with some pink pearls and an adorable sentiment. This is card is going to be for my friend Alexandra. She is a radiant woman. Have a magical week and keep playing along with us
MicheleThese fruity babies by Scrapper's Delight at Stitchy Bear are darling and I had fun coloring the raspberry baby with colored pencils and setting her out on a summer walk with her raspberry baskets. I used pretty papers and borders and a sentiment by TLC Creations.
HazelI've used the lovely Scrapper's Delights 'fruity babies strawberry' on the Stitchy Bear site, adding the sentiment digitally and colouring the image with spectrum noir pens, mounting on to mirror card. The background paper is K & Co Berry sweet (I chose it because it had strawberries on it, but I've covered so much of the paper that you can't actually see any of the strawberries - lol!). Sparkly ribbon and lace from stash.
BarbaraThe first week of the Fruits and Veggies challenge I received William Pear from Stitchy Bear Outlet Scrapper's Delight, isn't this the most adorable little guy. I cut the ovals with my Nellie Snellen plain ovals, the patterned paper is from DCWV matstack Mariposa and the ribbon is from Len's Mills Store. All the other cardstock I located in my file folder box, this is where I put half, quarter and scraps. I look there first before I cut anything. I put some stardust stickles on the feather.
A big "Thank You" to Stitchy Bear Outlet for Scrapper's Delights' sponsorship of this challenge.
