Corner Card
This card has a drop-down corner which is easy to make. I will try to do a tutorial on how to make it in the next couple of days. The circle around the image is a recycled piece from a greeting card I received. The image is from Lunagirl.

Lunagirl's Challenge
Lunagirl is having a Fairy and Mermaid Challenge. Here is a sample of one of her images. My background, which goes great with the image, is from Gecko Galz. They worked perfectly together.

September at Gecko Galz
September is "Tricks and Treats" at Gecko Galz. All the secary artwork comes out this month. I do not like to create anything with a Halloween, but I did make a couple for the theme. Below is the badge for this month so you can put it on your blog and a little info about the Customer Challenge.
The challenge runs from September 1-29 so there is plenty time to create and enter. There is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE product from Gecko Galz. It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!! It is up to you!!
The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz shopping spree.
For this card I cut through the Gecko Galz background and made t he fog wrap around the image giving it a 3D look
The image on this card is really cute. I thought an orange background was appropriate for the occasion.
This is a page from an album I am making. It is made with 3 business-size envelopes for each page. A page holds 5 pockets in which you can put tags or other items of embellishment.
This is a tag that will go into one of the pockets on one of my album pages, but not necessarily on the page above. I am creating the pages and pockets as an idea comes to me.
Below is the freebie image sheet Gecko Galz is giving away to you. Grab it from my page if you like.

My Inspirational Piece
My inspirational piece for my final challenge before taking a break uses a cute image from Little Blue Button Stamps who is my sponsor this time. The card base is black with a flowery designer paper cut into strips. The image is on a black base and so is the sentiment. Both are on dimensionals so they pop off the front. The image is colored with Copic markers.

Final Week of Challenges
The best-laid plans sometimes don't work. I had company come in when I usually write my post so this is late and I don't have my card created yet. I will post my sample mid-week.
Don't forget the challenge theme. It is "Remembering Summer". This is my last challenge for a while.
Don't forget the challenge theme. It is "Remembering Summer". This is my last challenge for a while.
This is a similar card to the one I made for week 1 of this challenge, once again using the lovely Miss Lily on the beach image kindly supplied by the challenge sponsor, Little Blue Button, coloured with chameleon pens. Papers and card used to create the background were from various bits and pieces that have built up over the years, tearing to give the idea of the sea and beach with a torn piece of DCWV summer paper text across the middle and a piece of DCWV flip flops grosgrain ribbon with a few other bits and pieces. I made the bucket and spade look shiny by covering with glossy accents, although that doesn't show here.

Remember the movie "A League of their Own"? About the women's baseball leagues? This freebie digital stamp from Little Blue Button reminded me of that movie. Baseball is one of the joys and memories of summer for some. For this card I used background digital paper by Gecko Galz and colored the Little Blue Button digital stamp with colored pencils. I created the sentiment in photoshop and added a flower, enamel dot and dragonfly sticker. There is one last week to link up! But there are still three weeks of summer left... Enjoy them.

For the second week of Remembering Summer I chose miss Lily at the beach, I fussy cut most of the image and cut the remainder with an oval classic die, the background was a piece of watercoloured paper left from another project, I think it's perfect. Patterned paper is from the dollar stop in Simcoe as are the glittery buttons.

For the second week of Remembering Summer, I used a lovely image from freebie section of Little Blue Button. It was digitally colored and bordered. Then I just added some flowers. Hope you keep playing along with us!Have an inspiring week!
A special thank you goes to Little Blue Button Stamps for sponsoring this challenge and to all the great people who have sponsored the 119 challenges I have had. I could not have done it without their help.
