Challenge #119-"Remembering Summer"

It has been a great summer in Tennessee this year.  It has been warm, but not too hot.  We have had rain, but not too much and there is a hint of Fall.  How you remember this summer is the theme of my challenge this time.
Vicki
I made a card reminding me of the seashell we found this summer.  I decided to go with summer stripes.  The Little Blue Button image is colored with Copics.

Hazel
For my card I've used the Miss Lily on the beach image kindly supplied by the challenge sponsor, Little Blue Button, coloured with chameleon pens. All papers and card used are from my offcuts box. I added the little rubber flip flops that have been in my stash for ages.

Michele
Much though I love autumn I never really am quite ready to let summer go.  For my first DT creation "remembering summer" I've used a sweet image from Little Blue Button called "Sophie with Flower."  I colored her with colored pencils and used background designer paper by Gecko Galz.  I did use both summer and autumn colors in recognition of the changing seasons.  I kept this creation simple, embellishing with just a flower and an enamel dot.  I look forward to seeing what you make!

Challenge #119 at the Cheerful Stamp Pad is Remembering summer, well it's not over yet as next week we are going to have a beautiful week it's cooler in the evening and much better for sleeping. Little Blue Button stamps is the sponsor for this challenge. I picked up this lovely image as a freebie on their blog. A friend was the sketch designer at Tuesday Morning Sketches and I wanted to use it which was  interesting as I flipped the sketch and used a circle. The sentiment I used is a Hero Arts seasons set, this is the Summer one.
Karla
For the first week of "Remembering Summer", I made a card using an image called Miss Lilly on the beach which was kindly supplied by our sponsor Little Blue Button. I colored and framed it digitally and then I added ribbons, buttons and a sentiment. Hope you keep playing along with us. Have an magical weekend!

Thanks to Little Blue Button Stamps for the sponsorship of  my final challenge.

My the weeks are passing by fast!Little  Here we are with the second week of the challenge Happy Birthday.  Here are some pieces of inspiration for the challenge thanks to my sponsor Little Blue Button Stamps.

For the second week of our challenge 118 I used the same digital image as last week - the lovely 'Sophie with flower' image supplied by the sponsor, Little Blue Button  - coloured with chameleon pens and die cut using an X cut parenthesis rectangular die, using a larger one for the mat  using an offcut of Hot off the Press paper. Corrugated strip and spotted ribbon from stash and the lovely organza flower with pearls in the centre. The background paper is some that I've had for a long time -
Barbara
I found this free Blue Button image and the first thing I thought was best friends birthday and I made it in my two favourite colours. the frame is from Impression Obsessions, I used the tulip border embossing folder to frame the image. If you check my blog you will see what I did on the inside with one of the parts of this frame. The sponsor for the challenge is Blue Button stamps and the image I used is Forever Friends the July freebie from Little Blue Button stamps.
Michele
I grabbed this Little Blue Button digital stamp from the freebie section of their website.  This creation is entirely digitally created in Adobe Photoshop.  I bordered the digital image, placed it on digital designer paper by Gecko Galz then colored it, and added the sentiment all in Photoshop.  I think this one came out very sweetly.  One last week to link up!

Clown Card

I have really enjoyed making cards with clowns as the main image.  Here is one using one of my favorite Gecko Galz clown images.  The color strips are pieces of a Gelli print.

Just Playing Around

I was just trying out a new die I bought the other day.  I thought I would make a fancy Panera cup.  It turned out pretty cute.  I used a number embossing folder on the background.  I placed it on a strip of designer paper to give the card a little more color.

Only Two Challenges Left

There are only two more challenges before I take a break from hosting challenges.  The theme this time is "Happy Birthday".  I have gotten a little out of sync with my starting day for the challenge so I am beginning this one even though the Anything Goes challenge is not closed.  Have fun!
Vicki
My birthday card uses the Little Miss Cupcake image from my sponsor Little Blue Button Stamps.  She is colored with Copic markers and this time holds a cupcake with caramel icing-my favorite!

Karla
For the first week of Birthday, I made a card using the adorable Little Blue Button "Miss Lily Big Cupcake" which was digitally colored. Then I added lace, fabric flowers, ribbons and crystals. Have an inspiring weekend and keep playing along with us!
Michele
Every day is someone's birthday!  Thus it is always good to get stocked up on good homemade birthday cards. The card I am sharing today was created digitally.  I took this adorable digital stamp from little blue button and placed it on digital designer paper from Gecko Galz.  I colored the image and added the sentiment using Adobe Photoshop.  This will be a fun card to share with someone, especially, perhaps, a young girl.  I look forward to seeing your creations!
Barbara
Another two weeks has flown by and it's time for a new challenge, for this fortnight it's Happy Birthday. We are always in need of a stash of birthday cards and it's handy to be able to go pick one out for an almost forgotten date. The sponsor is Blue Button stamps, and this is one of the images we were given to play with for the challenge.  I did a lot of colouring yesterday and surfed around for a sketch and decided to wait until Monday morning to check out Mojo Monday and so glad it is the perfect sketch for the super cute digi.
Hazel
For my card I used the lovely 'Sophie with flower' image supplied by the sponsor, Little Blue Button, coloured with spectrum noir pens. Background papers are from my offcuts box from long ago, the left hand piece being DCWV. Ribbons  and pearls from stash.

I Am Being Spotlighted!

For August Gecko Galz has the theme "Life is a Circus".    Each gal on the Design Team is being spotlighted using this theme.  Also there is a free image for you to grab on each girl's site. Today it is my turn.   Here are some cards I made using some of the fabulous circus images at Gecko Galz.

The background for this card is a piece of Gelli plating I made not too long ago.

This card and the one below uses a background from Mischief Circus.

Below is the free stamp for August from Gecko Galz.  I hope you enjoy using it.  As you can see below the stamp is one of the ways I have used the image.

I love the way that the butterfly fits into the digital.  The doily actually hides the butterfly within the design.  I had to cut the doily so it would fit the card.

Don't forget to visit Gecko Galz Scrapbooking, visit the various DT blog sites, see the creations, and pick up  your image

Karla
For week 2 of Anything goes, I made a card using an image called Sophie and the flower and it was kindly supplied by our sponsor Little Blue Button. I coloured Sophie digitally and added butterflies, flowers and crystals. Have a magical weekend
Hazel
For the second week of our Challenge 117 I printed out the lovely Little Blue Button 'Miss Lilly big cupcake' image kindly supplied by the sponsor. I coloured with spectrum noir and used some glossy accents to make the cherry shine and some ice stickles glitter glue around the icing swirls. The pink floral paper is an offcut that I've had for ages, spotted ribbon from Hobbycraft and the Keep Calm saying was made using keepcalm-o-matic.
Michele
"Anything goes" challenges are a great opportunity to link up whatever you may be working on for the chance to win a prize from our challenge sponsor Little Blue Button.  For my week two inspiration I chose this cute image from LBB because I love the beach.  I printed and colored the digital image with colored pencils and then laid it out on two different background papers from Gecko Galz.  I added die cuts and stickers to complete the piece.  I look forward to seeing your art!
Barbara
Another week has gone by and it's already August, the humidity has abated so it is much more comfortable at the cottage. For the second week of the Anything Goes challenge I use this cute cupcake girl from Little Blue Button stamps. I made the card 5 1/4 inches square and used my sewing machine to attach the patterned paper and of course it is in my favourite colour.....Purple.

Challelnge #117- "Anything Goes"

I'm sorry this post is a little late.  As of now I am planning to have only three more challenges.  Then the Design Team and I will take a break.  Let's start this weekend with a "Anything Goes" challenge.
Vicki
I made a little birthday card with the Miss Lilly Big Cupcake from Little Blue Button Stamps.  She is so cute.  Copic markers were used to color her and the background is a piece of birthday designer paper.
Michele
I was drawn to this dear digital image graciously provided by our challenge sponsor Little Blue Button.  Dream time is critical and important time and this little darling is dreaming over her cup of tea.  I used some delightful background designer paper from Twisted Papers to cover my cardstock.  I colored the digital image with pencils and fussy cut it to adhere to the background.  The polka dot washi tape created a nice contrast I thought and I also added the "dream" and butterfly stickers to finish the piece.  As the challenge theme is so open I do hope you will join us!
Barbara
For the first week of the challenge i picked this adorable image with a hot coffee/tea, I think it would make a fabulous "friend" card. I also used a different fold, more pictures on my blog.  The sponsor for the challenge is Little Blue Button Stamps, have a peek at the store they have some really sweet images.
Hazel
For my card I used the lovely 'dream Charlie' image kindly supplied by the sponsor, Little Blue Button Stamps. I coloured this with spectrum noir pens and tore the oval around a perspex template, using a larger one for the surrounding oval torn from an offcut of spotted paper. The main background paper is an offcut piece of DCWV, with the addition of the chipboard sentiment and flowers from Hobbycraft.
Karla
For week 1 of Anything Goes sponsored by Little Blue Button Stamps, I made a card using a lovely image called DREAM which I colored digitally. Then I layered it on two scrapbook papers and added a fabric flower and some crystals. My card was created for a little girl. Hope she likes it. Keep playing along with us and have a magical weekend
