The first card shows only a partial image from the Hampton Art stamp. I cut it to fit the beautiful Cheery Lynn die, I like the fact that there are a number of different little images which can be colored. This I did with Copic markers.
Finishing off the card, I attached a ready-made embellishment which says "Dream" with a small butterfly attached. This is what I am doing now as we almost made a trip to Paris this summer, but decided otherwise. Now I can only dream of going.
My second card is also a travel-inspired card; I put the Hampton Art image on a very small mat of burgundy and then place that on some beautiful designer paper which is gold and has copper in the design All of this is placed on a burgundy base card. I didn't put a sentiment on this card as I didn't want to distract from the image. Again, Copic markers were used to color.
Great travel cards Vicki!
ReplyDeleteYour travel cards are great! I especially like the 2nd one with all the textures and color contrasts. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteOoh, nice! Hampton has some great stamps - love how you used them.
