This is another entry into PKGlitz Card Challenge. I used the WonderFilm to put my glitter on the card. The scan doesn't reveal the glistening glitter. I am able to do a lot with this glitter as it is ultra fine.
As a final touch I used PKG's Pirate Gold embossing powder for the sentiment..

Putting on the Glitz
I'm putting on the Glitz! This is one of a couple of cards I am doing for the PK Glitz Card Sketch and Gingsnap Creations' Mettalics Challenge. I used PKG's embossing ink and powder. It is hard to tell, but the black cardstock has Glassy Embossing. Theis give a metalic look to the black. I used a Cuttleburg folder and then embossed with Timber color embossing powder. The letter is also embossed. The embossing was done on a finished piece of chipboard with almost a plastic finish. I was afraid that the embossing powder wouldn't take, but it did fine. In fact, it has a real metallic-looking finish. The nice thing about PKG's embossing powder is that there are so many colors and shades of color. You can find some powder to go with almost anything.
The stamp is a new one and is from the Song Sheet from Hearts in Touch. I am proud to say that I won it in a challenge.

Time
I'm ready for a new challenge. "Time" is the theme on this one. I chose Tea Time using the Modern Grid Technique. This was a fun card to make for the Ginersnap Creations Challenge.

Simple and Clean Monochromatic
I've had to change my mindset to do the next couple of cards as they are really out of my comfort zone. I had no problem with the monochromatic part, but it was the "clean and simple" that was a challenge. However, I wanted to try my hand by entering Gingersnap Creations' Case a Cas Challenge. I found these fun to do and they actually were quicker to make than some of my more complicated cards.
The butterifly is Martha Stewart and the script is from my Cricut machine. The background is tiny white dots on black cardstock.
The card at the right is a little more dramatic. The beautiful hummingbird is by Inkadinkadoo. In the two right corners are delicate silver stickers. Boy, they were a pain to put on, but I think they add a lot.

Both of these cards were entered into the challenge.

Favorite Colors
I have decided to join some of the Card Challenges this year. I had never done any before. They are fun and make you think.
It just happens that Gingersnap Creations is having a Challenge using my favorite colors--green, gold and purple. So this is what I came up with. There is an underlying meaning in the card. Did you catch it? It is that even a little pot can dream of being a big beautiful vase. I guess I had to explain or noone would get it! Stamps are Michael Strong and Inque.

Happy New Year
Let's start the new year with a new technique. Try doing a little Sanded Cuttlebug. This technique is quick and easy. I did this technique to enter Gingersnap Creations January 9 Challenge. The women are from a stamp by River City; the verse is from Inque.
