This is one of my favorite recently-learned techniques. The technique is one of the featured techs in this month'sTechnique Junkies Newsletter. If you haven't tried it, you must as it is easy and loads of fun. I could spend all day working with my copper and each time the copper would look different. I have uploaded one example here usingArtistic Outpost stampsn on the faux etched copper background..
Here is a second card I made with the same technique. I like not putting anything on the background.
I was anxious to see the Wing Challenge come up on Gingersnap Creations. When it was announced, I came up with all sorts of ideas, but somehow I ended up with this primitive bird. It is made up of a number of techniques. The body is Starch Smoosh, the head Sprayed Dye, the tail is Chalk Lines and the legs are Faux Designer Paper. Of course, I had to add a wing. I though a bright pink feather was perfect. Now for the greeting--I couldn't resist. I had to finish the card with a little humor.
