For the first week of Use Three Different Designer Papers" Guest Designer Spot", I used a salmon scrap paper from a Brazilian designer called Toke e Crie. I don’t know why it seems to be pink in the photo. I also used a green Victorian ornate pattern paper from Shabby Princess and the striped paper is from Kim Broedelet. The other elements are from my stash. My simple card is for my mother. It is her birthday. She’s going to be 72. You can see inside the card below. I haven’t written anything yet but guess what I will write. Have a great week ahead

I based my card on the sketch given for Freshly made sketches 131 using three different design papers from my offcuts box (always trying to use some up) - I also matted the embossed panel on to a piece of patterned card, but that's so minimal that I haven't counted that in my three papers! I inked the Papermania Easter stamp with stazon cactus green and added a few daises - there are little embossed flowers on the panel, but I thought it would be good to have daisies to match the ones added to the sentiment stamp.

For this challenge there isn't a sponsor but you could win a Guest Designer's spot for two weeks on the Cheerful Stamp Pad.The challenge is to use three patterned papers on your project. I used a Lacy Sunshine image Bubbles Bath, isn't she adorable in her daffodil bath tub. I used 4 designer papers, the base is Daffodil Delight and I used 4 because I wanted to use up a few scraps and make banners. I bought a few more copics at Scrapfest and wanted to play with them, I love turquoise and had to use it somewhere on my card. Talking and asking questions of a "copic guru"at scrapfest Kitchener I learned quite a bit about copics and how they work so now it's just practice.

Lately I've been kind of obsessed with making ATCs and I liked the challenge of fitting three distinct designer papers on a small surface. I picked bright and fun papers to highlight this delightful vintage lady clown image from Gecko Galz.

Papers from October Afternoon, Dovecraft and K&Company make a great combination for a card with the best wishes. A little girl from Birdie Brown coloured with Copics and colouring pensils, some half pearls and a stamped sentiment are the perfect additions.
This challenge is being sponsored by The Cheerful Stamp Pad and the winner of the challenge has a two-week Guest Designer Spot!
