Lunagirl Moonbeams to Begin "Fabulous Faces" Challenge

Lunagirl Moonbeams will begin its new challenge "Fabublous Faces" tomorrow.  There are loads of fabulous faces in the inventory of Lunagirl images.  Go here  to visit the Lunagirl blog and then go to her shop to see all the possibilities for this challenge.

On this card  I used one of my favorite Lunagirl oriental images and cut it down to the face only.  I wanted an image that was subtle and quiet against the busy mixed media background.  The only sentiment is inside the card as the front is very busy.

Wall Hanging

This is my last post for 2012.  It is a wall hanging using an image from Gecko Galz.  She is framed with a lacey diecut from Cheery Lynn Designs.  It is called French Flair Doilly.  This the first time I have used it and I like the way it framed my image  The background of the hanging is made with Clear Tar Gel, detress re-inker from  Tim Holtz, a stencil and acrylic paint and a napkin.  I haven't done very many wall hanging so this is still an experiment for me.
I made the wall hanging for Cheery Lynn Designs' challenge "Lace or Faux Lace".

Dancer Tag

I have made another mixed media tag.  This time is it for Art with No Boundaries' challenge Let the Dancer in You Escape.  Besides the dancer, Minuet,  the black and white checkered background and the sentiment belong to Chris of CS Designs. She  has some adorable Express Yourself images; you will have to go and take a peek.  The green background on the tag is fabric, There is a little foil and of course the ticket to see the show,

Also, I am entering it in Make It Monday's Anything Goes

Flower Tag

This is a flower tag I made recently using the cute flower pot image from Just Some Lines.  This is definitely a mixed media tag.   It used fabric, cardstock, an area distressed with ink, foil and completing the tag is paper lace made with a punch.  The flower pot of flowers was colored with Copic markers. After coloring, I did a little fussy cutting around the image.   I attached two sets of acrylic sentiments which read "Share" and "Remember to Share".  I really enjoyed working on this one.
