Bless this Nest

Gecko Galz is having Birds as the theme for March.  Here is a couple of samples

This is a set of three vintage bird tags.  I have a tutorial on YouTube showing how these were made.  My brand is Cheerful Greetings.

This is a collage card.

Moonlight and Magic

Moonlight and Magic is the theme for February's Customer Challenge.  My sample has a distance moon on which I placed a Geck Galz image.  I decreased her size so she would fit on the moon and used butterfly wings as her angel wings. The background is a collage of papers.

I have just started putting tutorials on YouTube and I would love for all my visitors to this blog to find them and then subscribe.  This is my first attempt at this so please bear with me as I am learning and my first videos are not the best.

You can find my videos here.  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWTuW-zPbQ2HZ1Px_cu2r3w

Also please offer suggestions on how I can improve.  Just send them to vlromaine@bellsouth.net    There are 4 videos in all.  PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!

My Love Stories

Gecko  Galz is having this month as its theme for the Customer Challenge "Beautiful Love Stories".  These are my love stories for this challenge.  I hope yo enjoy them.

Tag Tuesday

I decided to do things a little different this year by entering a number of challenges.  My first entry is for a "New Beginning" theme on Tag Tuesday.  This tag emphasizes the Beginning with a background that is vast, void of shape.  I took watercolors and combined the blue that would be the sky, the green and brown that would become the earth.  Time began at creation  The clocks in the background were  made with a glittery gold paste.  The words were made with my label maker and the girl is a sticker.

Christmas Tag

I call this my Overdone Christmas Tag.  It is chaotic like the stores and the things we go through. this time of year.

December Challenge

The Customer Challenge this month is "Snow Queen"  Below is one of my samples as I will also be posting again on the 20th of the month.

My Snow Queen is dancing about the trees to wish  you a Merry Christmas.

Below are my first Christmas tags  I made two since they are not you conventional tag.  These tags are made with slide shapes and they are made to use as an embellishment on a card.

Jingle All the Way

"Jingle All the Way" is the Customer Challenge this month.  Below are a few samples for this month.  I hope my sample will encourage to get started on your Christmas cards and to use some digital images from Gecko Galz.  There are so many Christmas images to choose from.

October Samples

Here are my Gecko Galz samples for October.  The paper as well as the focal image in the card below are both from Gecko Galz.  As you can tell, I do not do the typical Halloween with ghosts, skeletons. and graveyards.

The pumpkin background on this card is from my stash.

Notice the banner below and check out the dates for the Gecko Galz Blog Hop.

Putting on the Glitz

Putting on the Glitz is what the Gecko Galz Team is doing this month.  Sometimes imperfection is better than perfect.  For instance, the background on the first card was printed on my printer and I noticed that I am beginning to run out of ink.  That is what made the  yellow lines in the background.  I love those lines for they worked perfectly behind my image.  You probably would not have noticed if I had not said something about it.

,

On the tag below I put a little put of glitz on her dress.

Doing some wallpapering?  Save  a little to use on cards.  That is what I did below.

Gecko Galz Go to the Beach

Most of the  summer vacations we have taken have been to the beach.  This has been my influence for my Gecko Galz samples this month.

A tag with chalk background and loaded with Gecko Galz images

The two cards are made with a SPARK by Carolyn Dube   SPARKS are backgrounds she makes available to encourage and inspire creativity. I use this one two different ways.

Summertime

One of the challenges on Gecko Galz this month is Summer.  I have used a number of images on the following card that are from Gecko Galz.  The main image is theirs along with the seashell.  Behind the main image I used some water-designed paper.  The sentiment is from my stash.

I always consider poka dots a part of spring and summer.  I used them as a background for my lady. The butterfly and heart embellishment are from my stash and the sentiment is a stamp.
