Challenge #103 "Valentine"

Hopefully, everyone will enjoy this theme much more than the last one.  Sometimes it doesn't work to have an unusual thee.  This was the case with the last challenge.  Here is how the Design Team used the current theme.
Vicki
I love working with polka dots like he grey and blue designer paper to the right.  The left side of the card is dots also, but very shinny.  It is a scrap from an old card.  The lovely image is by my sponsor Sweet Pea Stamps.  Embellishments include shinny hears and a imprinted button circle.

For this week I've used a lovely digital image designed by Helena Reis for Sweet Pea Stamps and it is called "Follow Your Heart." I colored her with colored pencils and bordered my cut piece with a red marker.  The background paper on the card stock is from the "Love Potion #9" paper pack from Gecko Galz.  I added some simple rickrack and a dragonfly brad from Eyelet Outlet.  I hope you will play along!

For our first week of  "Valentine", I made a card using an image designed by Ching Chou Kuik called Moonlight Whipering and it was kindly provided by our sponsor Sweet Pea Stamps. I colored my lovely image with watercolor pencils and mounted it on two scrapbook papers. Then, I adorned it with some crystals, some pearls and flowers. The sentiment explains what we feel about love: we want it to last forever. Have a magical week and keep on playing with us!

I used the Concetta Kilmer's owl hearts digital image from Sweet Pea Stamps. The background of my card was created by overlaying a piece of vellum printed with roses on to a piece of paper with red hearts - I like the way the vellum muted the red colour. The corners were secured with some mulberry paper hearts and a piece of red, white and silver ribbon wrapped around the middle. The sentiment was generated on my dymo letratag.

For the first week I used Red Hearts, Ching Chou Kuik design from Sweet Pea Stamps. I have not done too many fairies and was intimidated by all the images on the site but managed to pick one for this week that was on the easier side. I loved the image and did paint the hearts red but the turquoise was calling me. I made an easel card, and haven't put a sentiment on it. (valentine sentiments are hiding) You should check out Sweet Pea Stamps they are all gorgeous.

Sweet Pea Stamps

I am so excited to have as my sponsor for this challenge Sweet Pea Stamps.  Click on their name above and visit their site.  As you can tell by the samples from the Design Team, they have a wonderful array of stamps.
