I love this image which can be found on the Stitchy Bear Outlet website. I decided that it really didn't need any coloring. I placed it on vintage red printed cardstock and then on a dull green cardstock, All of this was placed on a white card base. Just to give the card a little bling, I added a glittery little tree.
I am entering this in the Unruly Paperarts' 12 Days of Christmas Linkup.

The Reason for the Season
Here is one of my newest Christmas stamps. It is by Inkadinkadoo and it portrays the reason we celebrate Christmas. It seems to get lost nowadays with the buying of presents, cooking, and the rush of the daily chores. The image is on top of a piece of green handmade paper and designer cardstock that I have had stashed away for a while. The image was colored with Copic markers.
I am also entering this in the Unruly Paperarts' 12 Days of Christmas Linkup.

Old Saint Nick
"Old Saint Nick" is the challenge for the Lunagirl Moonbeams which started today. There are loads of Santa images on the Lunagirl so go and pick one out. You don't have to use one of Karen's images for the challenge, but it would be nice if you did and you would be entered into the challenge TWICE.
My card uses a "Freebie" that Lunagirl had posted in the last couple of weeks. I love the Santa and girl in this digital. The image is posted on a vintage print and I use to scraps from previous cards and on the one at the side I mounted three shinny little reindeer.
I am also entering this card in Unruly Paperarts "12 Days of Christmas Linkup".

Challenge #101 - "Signs of Christmas"
This should really be an easy challenge. The theme is "Signs of Christmas". There are so many ways you can enter this challenge. You can enter anything you wish-a card, a tag, home décor, ornament and the list goes on. Just make sure it has one aspect of Christmas in the entry. Here are some ideas from the Design Team.
The images that the Design Team are using are from Gingerloft and Kaz Kraftz which are found on the Stitchy Bear Outlet.

My card is deeply embossed with an pattern of snowflakes, swirls, flowers and other Christmasy pattern. The focal point of the card is two layers of a Spellbinders die and a Cheery Lynn Design die between them. On top is an image of holly leaves found on the Stitchey Bear Outlet website. In the corner is a cute little snowman and snowflake.
Michele
I love this digital image called "head first" by our sponsor Stitchy Bear's designer Ginger Loft. I started with red cardstock and added a bit of designer paper from my stash that i thought looked a bit like a house. I printed the digital stamp, colored it with pro markers, fussy cut it and added it to the card. The little round Santa and the "ho ho ho" are sentiments from my stash.
Hazel
The image is a super one kindly provided by Stitchy Bear Stamps by Gingerloft called 'head first'. I digitally put this on a deep blue background and added the lyrics of the song in white. I then printed this out and coloured the image with spectrum noirs, adding some Art Institute glitter as snow. The snowflakes were punched out using some white pearlescent card and I put some quickie glue here and there to sprinkle some more of the Art Institute glitter. This was then mounted on to a dark blue stardream card blank.

Week one of the Signs of Christmas challenge I chose a door digital stamp from Stitchy Bear/Gingerloft. When I printed it I thought oh it's too dark to colour it but as you can see it turned out beautiful. I added the cardinal and a scrap of gold ribbon. Layered on gold and on cranberry cardstock then attached it to Recollections Kraft cardstock. The snow is white opal liquid pearl. The cardinal is not part of the digi from Gingerloft.
Thanks to Stitchy Bear for sponsoring this challenge.

Santas Everywhere!
Yes, there are Santas everywhere on my blog just like at the mall. However, I really don't know that this year as I haven't been to the mall. My family has all decided that there will be "no gifts" this year as almost everyone is too old. For my teen grandkids, they will get something of mine that I cherish and for the baby grandchild he will get a toy or something special from me.
Bach to Santa. Here is another card with a jolly ol' Santa on it. The image is from Gecko Galz's Santa Jewel It sheet. The sentiment is from a stamp I received last Christmas. I put it on a Spellbinders diecut and attached two shinny bows. For extra bling I added Stickles on the package bow Santa is holding.
This card will also be entered in Unruly Paperarts' 12 Days of Christmas Linkup.

Christmas Tag
Gecko Galz is having a 24 Days of Christmas Tags and today is my day to show a tag. This is a very festive tag as the tag itself is made from an old card I had received a while back and had saved.. It is full of flowers and various shapes and is full of glitter; I cut out part of a Gecko Galz image from the Christmas Carols 1 sheet and glued to the front . A ribbon in a coordinating color was added.Make a visit to Gecko Galz each day and see a different tag made by a Design Team member.

Let's Join the Party!
Unruly Paperarts in having a 12 Days of Christmas Link Up Party and this Santa card is one of my entries. It is vintage-looking Santa from Gecko Galz which I put on some striped designer cardstock I had stashed away. I did not make the card completely vintage as I added some modern red flowers, some chipboard letters and a glittery tree. Drop over to Unruly Paperarts and see all the entries. You may want to enter also as it is loads of fun.

Christmas Pins
Here are two pins I made for my crafting group. Half of the group will get the poinsettia and half will get a snowman. I used six of the Gecko Galz snowman images for the snowman pins and the poinsettias are red, pink and white. I think my crafting group will feel a little more festive wearing a cute Christmas pin.
I am entering these into the Unruly Paperarts challenge. 12 Days of Christmas.

Second Week for a Digital Card
The challenge which is in its second week it to make a completely digital card. Both the background and the image must be digital. Here are a couple of ideas from the Design Team.
Vicki
The beautiful digital Christmas plaid background is from Coosty Creations found on the Stitchey Bear Outlet. The children in the snow is a digital from Lunagirl. It just happens she is having a challenge on Holiday Children. As added trim I put a row of red flowers ribbon down the left side. They resemble poinsettias. .
Hazel
This was produced digitally using the lovely poinsettia background paper kindly given by Stitchy Bear Coosty Creations, together with the sweet image and verse that I found for free download from Vintage Fangirl here.
Michele
For this tag I used digital background paper by Stitchy Bear designer Coosty Creations and in the corner is a digital stamp of poinsettias also by Coosty Creations. The poinsettias were colored with colored pencils. The Santa is a rubber stamp by 100 proof press. I outlined the poinsettia digital stamp and the rubber stamp with black pen. To finish I added the "no peeking" sentiment, some green stars and ribbon (all from my stash). I will add a "to" and "from" on the backside and attach this to a gift this Christmas!
Karla
For the second week of "Use a Digital Background and Images", I created another card that is 100% digital. The background papers are called Poinsettia and are by designer Coosty Creations of Stitchy Bear. The lovely image you see is an vintage postcard I found on Pinterest. All the others elements I used to adorn my card are from the internet. Have a magical week and keep playing along with us!
Barbara
For the second week of the challenge I used the same poinsettia image but made it larger and since I like pink poinsettias I coloured them pink, and fussy cut the image out. I also chose the green background digi and layered it on a scrap of shiny pink paper. I needed to add something to the right side so used some gold ribbon and then embossed the sentiment with versamark watermark and detail gold embossing powder
