My little image is hanging on to my charm which really looks like an oversized stone. She is colored with Copic markers and I thought the rub-on sentment was perfect for her, I very aeldom use stickers and I have so many of them so the little hearts were placed on the border. It seems that everything I have done the past two weeks has either been red or pink. Maybe my color scheme will change after Valentine's Day.

Just Friends and a Challenge Reminder
This is reminder for Just Some Lines' challenge "Something New". For my card I used a new paper company for me. It is Mary and Co. The flowery paper is adorable and I put it and the sentiment on my base card with a scrap of paisley that I had on hand. My image, colored with Copics, is from Just Some Lines and I think it goes perfectly with the sentiment.Drop over to the JSL site and put in an entry.

Something New
For Just Some Lines the current challenge is "Something New" so I thought I would try a new way of doing an old Mosaic technique, Usually this is done with a rubber stamp, but this time I used a digital. I wasn't sure if I could do it, but actually it was much easier than thought. The little baby is Just Some Lines and the sentiment is from ScrapTrends. For a little embellishment I added some narrow lace.

Just Friends
Can't you just image these little birds are friends. They are huddled together to protect themselves from the cold.
I created this card just for the Cheery Lynn Designs' challenge themed "Friends or Friendship". The background is a number of designer-paper scraps. The image, colored with Copics, is from Just Some Lines. The sentiment is from Vintage Arts Press. The die behind the birds is call Mini Pear Coved Rectangle Mega Doily from Cheery Lynn. The thing I like about this die is that it can be adjusted to almost any size.

This is a reminder for Just Some Lines' "Anything Halloween". The challenge is in its second week of the challenge. You still have a little time to enter. Below is my inspiration for the challenge.

My little card is a 6 x 6 square one. with many layers. I beieve there are 6 layers not counting the matting for each layer. All these layers really made a sturdy card and it gave me a chance to use up of my Halloween paper scraps. The little girl in her devil costume was colored with Copics.
Don't forget to put in your entry to the challenge.

Winter is on the Way
Well, we have really had warm weather so far this fall, but now the temperature is falling and all the little squirrels and other animals are getting ready for the cold. Cold weather means "snow". We really don't usually get much snow in Tennessee, but making cards about snow in the warm house, suits me just fine. Here is my first one for this year..
I am this in Christmas Challenges with Sketches.

Fall is Here
I really like the Fall. However, I know winter and cold weather are soon to follow. Here is a card I made for the second week of Just Some Lines' challenge "Fall Colors".
This is a get well card I made for a friend who just got home after having surgery. It uses an image from Just Some Lines and a gate made by a Cheery Lynn Designs. I am not sure which dies were used for the leaves as they were given to me by a friend. The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread. I am entering this in the Keep it Krafty challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs.
I wanted to make my card on the light side to cheer her up, but at the same time give encouragement and I think this fits the bill.

Fall Colors
I just love all the colors of Fall. Therefore I was glad to see Just Some Lines have a challenge Using Fall Colors. This is my inspiration for the challenge. It uses the image Bird in a Tree from Just Some Lines. It was colored with Copic markers.
This card uses a number of scraps of designer paper that had Fall colors. I had fun coloring the whimsical image.
If you have a chance drop over to their site and take part in the challenge. Also there are a number of images in the JSL store that would be great for her challenge.

More Than One Coloring Medium
The new challenge at Just Some Lines is to use more than one coloring medium. For my inspirational piece I used chalk in the background of the image. The blue sky and the very light green are both chalk while the Just Some Lines' image, Kyra Watching, is colored with Copic markers.
I thought having the image behind the window made an interesting presentation on the card.

Back to School
It is Back to School time at Just Some Lines. This is the theme of their current challenge. Below is a card I made for inspiration for those who may be interested in entering the challenge.
My card uses one of the new images at Just Some Lines. The apple is colored with Copic Markers. The apple is placed on a white mat to contrast it with the colors in the background. As an accent I used a ribbon that is made to look like a tape measure. I thought that the ribbon added to the schooltime theme.

Wildflowers
This Just Some Lines image of wildflowers was colored with watercolors. I really don't know how to use watercolors, but I thought it would be the appropriate medium for the image. So I tried my hand at it. My card uses a number of layers of paper and cardstock. I finished off with a big red bow. This card was made for Just Some Lines' "Layers" challenge. It started this past weekend so go take a peek and enter the challenge.
By the way, Just Some Lines is having a Design Team call. If you are interested, make sure you visit the site for details.

Summer Colors in Layers
This card has a multi-purpose post. Firstly, I made this card for Just Some Lines for their "Layers" challenge. The image is Just Some Lines' Girl in a Big Hat which is colored with bright Copic colors.
Secondly, I made this for Cheery Lynn Designs' challenge of "Hot Summer Colors". The background uses a blue Cheery Lynn Designs Lattice die for the background. On top of that is the Canadian Kaleidoscope Doily die which was not cut out completely, but is embossed. The silver die on top of that is another Canadian Kaleidoscope Doily die which has been cut out completely. Also the center was removed to be used on another project. This die was placed a little offset from the one below. I love being able to use the parts of the CLD diecut as well as the whole diecut.
Thirdly, I am entering my card in the Classy Cards and Such challenge CCNS #13 "Dies". Beverly at Classy Cards and Such carries all the Cheery Lynn Design dies as well as those of other companies and many other supplies.
